This famous public house lies on the "Lanshaw Lad" walking track from Shipley Glen to Ilkley via Rombald's Moor. The moor was named after a fabled giant called Rombald, and the pub, which was originally called The Fleece, was  named  Dick Hudson's after some long gone landlord.
